As an exhibition designer – understandably, I love exhibitions. An exhibition hall is a special kind of place that, if budget, time and space allows – anything is possible. Which industry sector will we be working for today? What devices will need to be displayed / interacted with? What mood do the clients want to emit from the walls, graphics and structures? How comfortable should delegates feel on the stand? Should foot-fall be channelled, focused, and once informed, swiftly ejected? A good exhibition space is an experiential journey. Achieving this whilst marrying the key advertising & marketing requirements set out in the brief are all aspects of the challenge.
